GIP. also, bored to tears.
so so so bored.

so bored.

someone entertain me before Bad Things start happening.

I cannot be held responsible for anything that happens when I am under the sway of extreme boredom.

Do you really want me indulging my Remus/Sirius/Hermione kink? I doubt it...

Also, GIP. Delirium. Which should give you a clue as to how I'm feeling.

OMG Remus/Sirius/Hermione gimmegimmegimme! I would love to see this -- I had no idea anyone else had a kink on for this!

so, sorry that i can't entertain you, except to say, have you read Lupin's Symposium? It's not R/S/H, but it flirts with it at a point, and it's wicked hot. *loves*

Heh. Wait around long enough, someone's bound to share your kink. That's what I've learned about fandom. *g*

It's not written yet, because the restraints of good taste were holding me back, but screw that. I'm bored. Let's see what I can do. *g*

Yes. I love that fic. And yes, it does flirt with R/S/Hr, but then backs away. *whimper*

I think it may be too late. The wheels are in motion. The boredom has had its way with me, and Ron has gone off to the Quidditch World Cup, leaving a very bored and randy Hermione behind.

However, I would never turn down a hot non-drunk, not-too-angsty R/S first kiss...

I have now. Very hot. Very sweet. Nice dynamic between them, and oh yeah, hot. *g*

Did you see these posters yet?

I have not. That'll have to wait until I get home, as I have the graphics turned off here at work.

Have you moved out of the Atlantic ocean yet?

I kinda like it out here. Nice and quiet. *g*

Have you thought about signing up for this? Just a thought. I took the plunge and I bet I'll regret it, but no one's writing Playmakers fic that I can find, so ...

I'll have to look at it more closely, but I don't tend to write rare pairings. I suppose I could tackle Homicide, but I've only written gen there.

Hmmm...

I don't tend to write rare pairings, but I do like shows that don't get slash written very often like Playmakers and General Hospital. Plus, they defined the OC as "obscure" or "rare" so I'll take that, man. I can do that.

Heh. I just...I already signed up for the one [info]alara_r is running. And I don't see how CJ/Toby can be considered a rare pairing. So I'm just gonna be a consumer, I think...

I don't see how the OC or Everwood qualifies as obscure, either, but then again, not everyone has the same friends list I have. I do see where organizing some kind of secret santa thing for those fandoms would be difficult with far fewer writers and little variety in the pairings asked for, so in that regard, heck, I'll take it.

And yeah, CJ/Toby? Hrmph.

Maybe it's a matter of perspective, but CJ/Toby is like *the* WW het pairing. Unless things have changed since I actively read the lists...

I thought it was Josh/Donna that was the het pairing. Sadly, CJ/Toby was the one that got written less but had, um, better writers overall. Or, more accurately, writers whose work I adored more.

You know, as soon as I hit post, I thought, "She's going to say J/D is the big het pairing."

Heh.

My impression is that CJ/Toby is the 'acceptable' het pairing, because more good writers wrote (write) it, where as Josh/Donna is dismissed because of the slavish devotion of some of its fans, as well as the reams of badfic culminating in Rose Garden weddings.

not that I haven't read some bad CJ/Toby. 'Cause I have.

I guess it's all a matter of perspective. But if I had to describe the het pairings, I'd say, "CJ/Toby is the big one, Josh/Donna is the disparaged one, Jed/Abbey is the 'boring' one, CJ/Danny is marginalized, and Sam/Ainsley(Mallory) is the 'oh yeah, they're pretty. They should have sex' one."

Huh.

Heeeeeeee. All my TWW info is from two years ago, but back then I would have said that J/D was the most popular, CJ/Toby was the one with the better writers, Jed/Abbey is boring and the rest have their devotees but not as big a following. I don't know that I would have dismissed J/D back then so quickly. I tended to skip over a lot of the stories, of course, so maybe I just read the good ones and didn't have as negative a view.

And, again, two years ago. So our different views might just be timeline ones.

Also, I always liked some CJ/Sam, oddly enough. Or CJ/Josh which also had some good 'uns.

I think I'm a little sour because not only did the show screw up the J/D dynamic (romantic *and* platonic), but a few of my favorite writers left the fandom/pairing just as Amy showed up and there was a lot of Amy-bashing fic going on. I don't care for Amy, but I don't think she's the Devil Incarnate, either, you know?

I always liked some CJ/Sam, oddly enough. Or CJ/Josh which also had some good 'uns.

I never quite buy CJ/Sam, though I think ellen m. wrote at least one really good one (that I rememebr). CJ/Josh has its moments.

I had stopped reading about when Amy started coming in so I never had to read those. And yes, I can't stand that sort of hating on the romantic obstacle. I've been having a little pinprick with the OC where I hate hate hate the romantic pairing girl for my pretty slash boy, but then I console myself because I like Lana on Smallville, so clearly, I can't be that guilty of hating the obstacle. I like Lana!

I never quite buy CJ/Sam, but for a good enough story, I could suspend judgment and believe for the course of the story.

When I feel that way, I sing this song:

If it's a temporary lull
why'm I bored right outta my skull?
Man, I'm dressin' sharp an' feelin' dull

Lonely, I guess that's where I'm from
If I was from Canada
then I'd best be called lonesome

And if it's just a game
Then I'll break down just in case
Oh yeah, we're runnin' in our last race

Well, I laughed half the way to Tokyo
I dreamt I was Surfer Joe
An' what that means, I don't know

A dream too tired to come true
Left a rebel without a clue
And I'm searching for somethin' to do

And if it's just a game
Then we'll hold hands just the same
So what, we're bleeding but we ain't cut

And I could purge my soul perhaps
For the imminent collapse
Oh yeah, I'll tell you what we could do
You be me for a while
I'll be you

A dream too tired to come true
Left a rebel without a clue
Won't you tell me what I should do?

And if it's just a lull
why'm I bored right outta my skull?
Oh yeah, keep me from feeling so dull

And if it's just a game
Then we'll break down just in case
Then again, I'll tell you what we could do
You be me for a while
You be me for a while
and I'll be you
